Table of Contents:

Reviewing 10 of the best rap songs with a lot of bass. (Yup, a lot.)

Before we show you our bass rap songs playlist, let's dive in a bit more to analyze and discuss some of the hard hitting rap songs that are actually featured in our best bass songs rap playlist.

Dior by Pop Smoke

Pop Smoke was one of the most influential young artists, ready to take over the music industry. His unique sounding vocals combined with rising drill scene was a combination set to launch the talented rapper to superstardom.

However, he was tragically murdered in February of 2020. Rest in peace to this legend.

To date, "Dior" is Pop Smoke's most streamed rap song, as he raps about living the high life and owning luxury brands.

The lyrics are full of references to designer labels, expensive cars, and private jets. It's a lifestyle that most people can only dream of, and the song celebrates that fact.

Dior is a song about living life to the fullest and savoring every moment. It's a reminder that we should all enjoy the good things in life, because they won't last forever.

Brand New Draco by 21 Savage & Metro Boomin

"Brand New Draco" is an underrated track off of the album SAVAGE MODE II, as although it is rarely considered one of the best 21 savage songs, it most certainly is.

Released in 2017, this song dropped at a time when the two artists were both experiencing success in their careers. 21 Savage had just come off the release of his debut album, and Metro Boomin was fresh off the release of his collaborative project with Future.

Given this context, it's no surprise that the song is about luxury and success. The lyrics are filled with references to designer clothes, expensive cars, and lavish lifestyle. However, there is also an underlying message about being careful with one's wealth.

In the chorus, 21 Savage warns listeners to "keep that Draco close." In other words, don't flaunt your riches too much or you might attract unwanted attention. This is sage advice from two artists who have clearly achieved a level of success that most people can only dream of. So if you're ever feeling flush with cash, just remember: keep that Draco close.

The combination of the hard hitting instrumental and great lyricism make this track one of the best 21 savage songs to-date.

Ni**as in Paris by Kanye West & JAY-Z

Kanye West and JAY-Z's song "Ni**as in Paris" is a celebration of success and excess. The song's title refers to the luxury lifestyle enjoyed by the rapper's inner circle, and it's clear that Kanye West and JAY-Z are reveling in their own wealth and success.

However, the song also contains a message of empowerment, as the rappers encourage listeners to pursue their own dreams of success. In many ways, Ni**as in Paris is a classic example of the American Dream: it's a story of two young men who have made it big, and who are enjoying every minute of it.

If you're looking for a song that captures the glitz and glamour of the rap world, Ni**as in Paris by Kanye West and JAY-Z is definitely worth a listen.

6 Foot 7 Foot by Lil Wayne & Cory Gunz

"6 Foot 7 Foot" is one of the best rap songs of the early 2010s, by rapper Lil Wayne featuring Cory Gunz. This song was released on December 16, 2010 as the lead single from Wayne's ninth studio album, Tha Carter IV (2011).

The unique instrumental for 6 Foot 7 Foot was produced by American record producer Bangladesh. It is based on the drums from the 1971 song "Mystic Brew" by jazz-funk band Ronnie Foster. Bangladesh incorporated a variety of other sounds into the instrumental, including curving synth lines, chaotic horn blasts, and eerie church bells.

The music video for 6 Foot 7 Foot was directed by Hype Williams and premiered on MTV on February 3, 2011 and was nominated for Best Hip-Hop Video at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards. The song peaked at number 44 on the US Billboard Hot 100. 6 Foot 7 Foot is one of the best rap songs of the early 2010s, with good bass throughout the beat.

44 More by Logic

"44 More" is one of the best logic songs, period.

The song starts with a simple piano melody, which is soon joined by a catchy drum beat. Since the track has no chorus, it's one of those hard hitting rap songs that has plenty time to combine lyricism, lyrical speed, and of course, plenty of bass.

This song is actually a follow-up track to 44 Bars from the original Bobby Tarantino album. Impressively, 44 More has more than doubled the original track in terms of streams largely in part due to its iconic instrumental with hard hitting 808s.

Ultimately, 44 More is one of the best logic songs and is one of our favorite aggressive rap songs of recent modern hip hop releases.

Ridin' Rims by Dem Franchize Boyz

Let's take it back to 2006, with one of our personal favorite gangsta rap songs.

In the song "Ridin' Rims" by Dem Franchize Boyz, the hard hitting instrumental really drives home the track. While the lyrics discuss how the boys are living a life of luxury, the instrumental creates a sense of danger and suspense.

It's as if the boys are riding on the edge, and one wrong move could send them tumbling down.

This contrast between the lyrics and the instrumental creates a unique and engaging listening experience. What's more, it gives the song a sense of urgency and intensity that is sure to get your heart racing.

So if you're looking for a song that will get you pumped up, look no further than this throwback crunk rap song to get the job done.

Plus, a car songs rap playlist is always better when the rap songs themselves are about cars. I guess this song is just a car songs rap match made in heaven.

How We Do by 50 Cent & The Game

Often misreferred to as This is How We Do, "How We Do" is a song by American rapper 50 Cent. How We Do by 50 Cent is a perfect example of how rap music can be both catchy and hard-hitting.

The verses are delivered with a rapid-fire flow, and the chorus is both hooky and memorable. But what really makes the song stand out is the production.

The pulsing bassline and staccato strings give the song an driving energy, while the subtle use of turntablism adds just the right amount of edge.

As a result, How We Do is a track that's sure to get your head nodding.

Is this is How We Do 50 Cent's most mislabeled track? Definitely. Is it also one of his best bass rap songs? Also, definitely.

m.A.A.d city by Kendrick Lamar

"m.A.A.d city" is a iconic rap song by Kendrick Lamar that features a heavy bass instrumental.

The song is about the rapper's hometown of Compton, and the violence that he witnessed growing up there. The bassline is catchy and provides a perfect backdrop for Lamar's rapping. However, it is also very dark and menacing, which reflects the theme of the song.

The bassline creates a sense of unease, which makes the listener feel as if they are walking through a dangerous neighborhood. This feeling is amplified by the sound of gunshots that are occasionally heard in the background.

One of our favorite hard rap songs, m.A.A.d city is one song that effectively uses its heavy bassline to create an atmosphere of tension and danger.

Love Sosa by Chief Keef

When discussing rap songs that hit hard, or rap songs with good bass, it's obvious "Love Sosa" by Chief Keef is a must to mention. Love Sosa is one of those hype hip hop songs that helped pioneer modern bass rap songs.

With a music video boasting over 250 million views, Love Sosa is definitely no secret to the general public. However, we'd be wrong not to include this smash hit, as Love Sosa is one of those songs that hit hard a decade do, and still does today.

Save That by Rich The Kid

Lastly, the song "Save That" by Rich The Kid is a banger, plain and simple. I mean if you are looking for rap songs with a lot of bass, look no further.

The production on Save That is top notch, with the instrumental being a perfect blend of trap and pop, with of course plenty good bass.

The low end, distorted 808s you hear throughout the track makes the song almost sound as if it is a bass boosted remix rather than an original track. There isn't much music that sounds this over-the-top with the bass, so it has to be included on this list.

20 Honorable Mentions:

Lastly, let's mention a few more of the best bass rap songs that we didn't fully dive into, but will tip our cap to quickly.

Note: Each song is linked to it's respective music video or default video on YouTube.

Ok well that's enough chat. If you haven't already been listening to the playlist in the background, it's now time to hear our collection of the best bass rap songs around.
